Where is the Szarr family ring? ›

Gifted or looted from Godey, who is in the Szarr Palace kennels on the lower floor. Another can be looted from Cazador.

With both the Szarr Family Ring and the Kozakuran Dictionary in your inventory, you'll be able to interact with the Sinister Door and open it easily. When you speak the password and show the ring to the door, it will open to reveal a ballroom rife with werewolves, wolves, and rats.

In Baldur's Gate 3 the Family Ring will increase your chances of successfully rolling a Death Saving Throw with the dice. The bonus on this ring grants a +2 increase to Death Saving Throws. A Death Saving Throw is a dice roll that a Downed creature must make to avoid dying.

She was later transformed into a Vampire, but refused to participate in what she called 'the family rites'. In punishment she was imprisoned in the attic. Amanita rejected the name of Amanita Szarr after her damnation. She renamed herself Lady Incognita, and elected to remain in the attic.

If you convince Astarion not to complete the ritual, and spare the vampire spawn, the Gur will be waiting for you by the lift, thankful that you saved their abducted children, although they're understandably upset that they were turned into vampire spawn and released into the underdark.

The locked door in the first room can be bypassed by placing items (the nearby metal crates) on the two pressure plates. There are four pressure plates in the following room, which are tied to noxious gas and flame traps; activating the four pressure plates will lock the door behind you and open the door ahead.

To open the sinister door, you need both the Kozakuran dictionary and the Szarr family ring – the latter acts as the key, while the former gives you the ability to speak the magic words.

Release the Spawn

In general, this is the most recommended option, as Astarion will order his brothers and sisters to send the spawn to Underdark, where they can be safe from sunlight and have plenty of food, so they will not harm and terrorize the citizens of Baldur's Gate.

Players must first let Astarion drink their character's blood, then follow his quest line to the end, resulting in him becoming a more powerful party member. The player character can't fully become a vampire, but they can also gain some vampiric power after Astarion ascends.

Can you romance anyone in baldurs gate 3? ›

Companion romances have no limitations in terms of gender, race, or other factors beyond your efforts to build rapport within the game. Potential suitors may interact with you differently based on race or class, but ultimately, you can still romance any romanceable character.

After breaking your oath, the Oathbreaker Knight will be at your camp. Speak with him to unlock the Oathbreaker subclass and replace your previous channel oath abilities. If you change your mind, you can speak to the Oathbreaker Knight again to reclaim your Oath. This will cost you 1000 gold, though.

He also underwent many forms of torture while under Cazador's control, such as being starved, trapped in solitary confinement, mutilated, and being forced to sustain himself on mere rats.

If Astarion ascends, he loses all that character development and goes back to how he was when players first met him after the Nautiloid crash, but with the added evilness, hunger for power, and controlling demeanor. If the player chooses to prevent him from ascending, he later thanks them for saving him from himself.

The Szarr Palace can be accessed by climbing the central watch tower at the Lower City Central Wall Waypoint. Head north on the ramparts, climbing another watch tower and again heading north until arriving at the Szarr Palace's door.

Where to Find the Signet Ring in BG3's Szarr Palace. The signet ring needed to unlock the Sinister Door is locked in the "kennel," where Astarion and his siblings were locked up when they misbehaved, located X: -1285, Y:985.

The Sapping Curse can be removed with Remove Curse, or an Elixir of Necrotic Resistance can be used to move past her. If neither are available, as Victoria is a child and weighs very little, she can be (somewhat morosely) tossed across the room, away from the rest of the objects within it.

Dismiss Arcane Lock is a level abjuration spell. This spell allows the caster to end their Arcane Lock.
